FUTURE OF TEACHERS
PROFESSOR GOULD OPTIMISTIC. FAVOURABLE COMPARISON. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, May 9. In an address on various aspects of education Professor A. H. Gould, of Victoria University College, at the conference of the New Zealand Educational Institute to-day, expressed optimism regarding the future of New Zealand’s teachers. They compared favourably with those in. other lands he had visited, he said, and they excelled in the technique of classroom practice.
