PROTECTION IN AMERICA. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Washington, May 8. The Administration’s Bill to protect the investing public in the purchase of securities was approved to-day by the Senate. The Securities Bill goes to a conference for the adjustment of differences with the House. The Senate added an amendment by Mr Johnson (Republican) for California to set up a corporation to negotiate for the resumption of payments on defaulted foreign bonds.
