MINES WORKING
RECENT AGREEMENT. TERMS RATIFIED. (Per United Press Association ) Auckland, May 9. All the Waikato mines will be working to-morrow, following the ratification by the miners of the terms of settlement agreed to on Monday at the conference of representatives of the mining companies and the miners. The issues were put to the votes of the men at the Huntly, Glen Afton, Rotowaro and Renown pits. The result was announced officially as 234 votes for the acceptance of the terms and nine against the acceptance.
