A very large number attended, there being visitors from Tokanui, Quarry Hills, Waikawa Valley and Waikawa. The Niagara school children contributed a number of songs and recitations which reflected great credit on their teacher, Mrs Dunlop. The following also contributed to the programme: Mrs Brookes, recitation; Mrs Stevens, song; Misses Jessie McLean, song; the Thomson family (Tokanui), songs, Mr Thomson, mouthorgan solo; Mr Earwaker (Tokanui), Mr Greig (Tokanui) read the bal-ance-sheet for the year and various reports. Messrs Dyason (home missionary), Robson, and Swan also spoke. Great credit is due to Mr Robson (Niagara) for his efforts to make the evening such a success.
