CONVICT BITES WARDER
INCIDENT AT HOSPITAL. Disciplinary action has been taken against a convict patient in the prison hospital at Parkhurst, Isle of Wight, who attacked a hospital warder named Robinson. The prisoner had been operated upon for the removal of pieces of a spoon which he had swallowed. While the warder was dressing the wound the convict bit his ear.
