WAIKAKA NOTES
(From Our Correspondent.) On Saturday a football team journeyed from Waipahi to Waikaka to play a friendly matcH with the local senior team. The weather was fair and the grounds were in good order, but the spectators, of whom there were a fair number, were not treated to a great deal of brilliant football. Both teams showed fair form and after a game or two should develop into fairly good teams. Lockett, the Waikaka full-back, gave a good display, saving his side several times and should be an asset to the club. Waikaka proved the stronger side winning by 16 points to nil. Mr W. Corcoran was the referee.
