NAZI GOVERNORS

HITLER’S PROPOSAL APPROVED. (United Press Assn.— Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, May 5. Hindenburg has adopted Hitler s proposal to appoint six Nazi governors at Wurtemburg, Emden, Saxony, Hessen, Bremen, Oldenburg, Anhalt and Brunswick. The Nationalists have again been overlooked. The progressive elimination of their influence indicates the early disappearance oi Hugenburg, who will probably be superseded by Willikens, the Nazi president of the Land Union, as Minister of Agriculture. Nationalist newspapers prophesy Hugenburg’s resignation and protest against the unfair supersession of tne Nationalists. Misgivings have deepened as the result of Hitler s statement that giant fortunes must disappear. The Government has decreed a cessation of rigorous interference of commerce in order to allay nervousness.
