CHARGE OF BOOKMAKING. CONVICTION AGAINST STEWARD. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, May 5. Arthur Vowles. described as a steward, was to-day fined £2O on a charge of carrying on business as a bookmaker and was given a month to find . the money.
