HUMAN CANNON-BALL
CIRCUS FATALITY. A circus performer known as “Leinhert, the Human Cannon-Ball,” was killed during performance of his act at Manila. His back was broken when the net failed to break his fall sufficiently after he had been shot from a cannon. His real name was Martin Brado, ot Dresden, Germany. He appeared with Mr Bertram Mills’ Circus in 1930, and broke his leg while performing at Oxford.
