GREYHOUND BUSES

RAPID GROWTH.

It is reported in an American exchange that 75 per cent, of the £250,000 appropriated in 1932 by Greyhound Buses for advertising purposes, was spent in 700 newspapers, considerably more than in 1931. “The rapid growth of Greyhound lines into the vast nation-wide transportation system it is to-day,” asserts Mr J. B. Walker, vicepresident of the company, “would not have been possible without the use of newspaper advertising. “In addition to increasing the list of newspapers to be |Used in 1932, Greyhound Lines have increased the amount of their advertising budget,” Mr Walker says. “This is a year when every advertiser must make every dollar count and to make them count they must be invested wisely. No wiser way could be found than by using space regularly in newspapers.”
