FORTIFICATION NOTES
(From Our Correspondent.) Mr and Mrs M. Fallow entertained a number of friends at a party held at their residence on Friday evening to celebrate the coming of age of their daughter Una. A most enjoyable time was spent in games community singing and dancing. Mr F. Collis acted as M.C., the musicians being Mrs Edwards and Messrs Braid and Stirling. After supper Mr A. Holms heartily congratulated Miss Fallow on attaining the age of twenty-one at the same time presenting her with the golden key. Mr M. Fallow in response expressed pleasure at seeing so many friends present and hoped they had enjoyed the function. The happy gathering was suitably concluded by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
