RANGITATA ARRIVES

PROMINENT PEOPLE ABOARD. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, December 21. There were a number of prominent people among the passengers on the Rangitata which arrived from London to-day. Sir James Mills, chairman of Directors of the Union Steamship Company returned after spending several months in England. Mr H. White Wickam, of London, Lieutenant Colonel G. S. Douglas, of India; Colonel Sir Philip and Lady Brocklehurst, of England; Major P. Kerr-Smiley, of London; Lieutenant Commander G. Branson, of London, who arrived for the fishing season; Mr C, E. Malfroy, New Zealand tennis player, who has been at Cambridge University for three years. Mr H. F. Nicoll, president of the New Zealand Trotting Conference, also returned.
