CRASH ON TO ROOF
FRENCH MILITARY PLANE. WOMAN KILLED IN EXPLOSION. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.45 p.m.) Paris, December 20. A military plane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb. The pilot was killed instantly. The inhabitants rushed into the street. Policemen and volunteers, using ladders, attempted to reach the wreckage. A septuagenarian woman resident returned to fetch her savings when a violent explosion occurred owing to the petrol reaching a stove through the chimney. The explosion killed the woman and injured 19 others.
