A streamlined train driven by two 140 horsepower Diesel engines covered the 180 miles from Berlin to Hamburg at an average speed of 76 miles an hour. The train consists of a double coach accommodating 102 passengers. Not even a door knob protrudes from the sides, while the rounded front gives the train a torpedo-like appearance.
