CLERGYMAN’S DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) Tauranga, November 3. The body of the Rev. E. G. Ault who disappeared from his home at Turua on Saturday last was found on the beach near Ranginui Point, Welcome Bay. An inquest was held this morning before Mr A. F. Tunks. The deceased, who was about 50, was unmarried and had been in ill-health for some time. He had no financial worries. The Coroner returned a verdict that deceased met his death by drowning on or about October 29. MINER ELECTROCUTED. Whangarei, November 3. Harry Parr, aged 38, a married man with three children and a member of the co-operative party working the Ware mine at Hikurangi was electrocuted this morning as the result of a bell wire fusing. Two others, “Bull” Hart and W. Graham, suffered a severe shock. FALL THROUGH WINDOW. New Plymouth, November 3. Falling nine feet from an upper storey window to the roof of a shop verandah below, Miss Veronica McKelliget, a dressmaker, sustained a compound fracture of the leg and a dislocation of the right ankle early this evening. Her position was such that the Fire Brigade was summoned. With the use of ropes and ladders and the aid of the brigadesmen and passers-by the woman was lowered safely to the road and removed in the ambulance to the hospital. BOY BADLY BURNED. New Plymouth, November 3. Stanley Garcia, aged 11 years, was removed to the hospital, badly burned, as the result of the ignition of gunpowder by a cracker. It was stated tonight that it was too soon to decide how serious his injuries are because of shock. CHILD’S DEATH. Palmerston North, November 3. Toddling out to meet his father at his home at Ashhurst this afternoon, lan George Curry, aged 20 months, got under a car wheel before the vehicle could be stopped and his death occurred in the hospital to-night.
