STRIKE IN BERLIN
CITY’S TRANSPORT PARALYSED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.15 a.m.) Berlin, November 3. Though a strike ballot on a wage reduction of a farthing an hour failed to secure a two-thirds majority, a partial strike of tram, bus and tube employees began early this morning and became general under combined Nazi-Com-munist influence. The city is almost paralysed. Serious disturbances developed, crowds damaging the few trams running.
