MODERN YOUTH.
To the Editor. Sir, —In reference to the letters from Betsy Hales and “A Piece of Miss 32”, it appears to me they are certainly going the pace and their nerves are getting frayed. When two old folks are conversing and their remarks are overheard, it does not mean they are disparaging youth as this generation includes age as well as youth. If we read our Bible aright I think disobedience caused the fall of Man and if these young people wish to obey the laws therein there will be nothing to fear irrespective of remarks overheard. Youth must gain its own experience at its own expense. As they go along they will find that every dog has his day and every cat two afternoons. So let them have a good time while they are young, then when they join the ranks of the unlets they will be able to judge whether the game was worth the candle or not.—l am, etc., GREAT GRANDMA 32.
