OPEN DOOR POLICY
BRITAIN AND MANCHURIA. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 31. Replying in the House of Commons to questions, Sir John Simon said the British Government so far had no grounds for doubting that the open door would be effectively maintained in Manchuria in accordance with assurance given by both the Japanese Government and the Manchurian authorities.
