SPRINGHILLS NEWS
HOUSE PARTY. On October 21 a pleasant house party was given by Mr and Mrs T. Keen in their bam, a large crowd being present. Supper was provided by the ladies. Songs were rendered by Messrs J. Buchanan, J. Kidd, Mesdames W. Mattews and A. Mattews and Miss Twies, music being given by Messrs J. Kidd (bagpipes) and Sands (accordion). Those present, were Mr and Mrs T. Keen, Mr and Mrs C. Wilson, Mr and Mrs J. Buchanan,. Mr and Mrs R. Frisby, Mr and Mrs A. L. Chisholm, Mr and Mrs H. Mattews, Mr and Mrs A. Mattews, Mr and Mrs D. Chisholm, Mesdames Livingstone and Sands, Misses P. and -N. Buchanan, I. Frisby, G. Robertson, I. Zwies, W. Mattews, M. and A. Wilson, K. and B. Chisholm, Sands (2), and Livingstone. Messrs S. Slocombe, J. and G. Kidd, J. Rugg, T. and W. Mattews, D. Eggelton, Peterson, Wilson (3), G. Livingstone, Hailes, Sands (2). Parties were also given at an earlier date by Mesdames A. L. Chisholm, S. Paddon and F. Trisby.
