John James Walker, aged four, was run over by a set of discs on his father’s farm at Otokia, being severely cut about the body. He was admitted to hospital in a serious condition. Through upsetting a cup of tea Francis Fitzpatrick, aged 19 months, was severely scalded on the face and chest, subsequently being admitted to hospital.
