Hutchinson that nobody had yet suggested an Imperial Conference being held in 1933. The Hon. Neville Chamberlain, in answer to a question, said the Irish Free State had withheld £1,750,000 to July 15, when our special duties came into operation, and £564,000 between July 15 and October 15. The revenue from special duties for the latter period was £503,000. Major L. Hore-Belisha informed a questioner that the revenue to September 30 under the Import Duties Act was £11,881,000, under the Abnormal Importations Act £1,356,000, and tinder the Horticultural Products Act £752,000.
