BUDGET DEBATE CONTINUED. CUSTOMS RESOLUTIONS THIS EVENING. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, October 12. The debate on the Budget was continued in the House of Representatives this evening without much interest apart from the speech of the Leader of the Opposition, Mr H. E. Holland, until shortly before midnight when the House adjourned until 2.30 to-morrow, when the debate will be resumed. The debate will be interrupted tomorrow evening, however, for the introduction and passing of the Customs resolutions giving effect to the Ottawa agreement and as imprest must be passed on Friday the debate is not likely to be resumed until next week.
