Officers of the United States Army are deeply interested in a new tank. In a demonstration at Linden, New Jersey, the tank running on caterpillars across rough country, travelled at 60 miles an hour and made a highway test of 110 miles an hour. With the aid of spring mechanism on its underside, the tank can make a jump of Bft in the air and land 30ft ahead.
