It is expected that tire vessel will sail on Saturday for Timaru. The Union Company's intercolonial freighter Wainui is to leave Melbourne on Wednesday for Bluff. Due at Bluff on Monday, October 17. the vessel will sail on her usual run for Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Union Company’s freighter Waikouaiti is due back at Bluff next Saturday to load for Sydney, sailing the same day. The Atlantic Union Oil Company's tanker Svolder which left San Pedro on September 15, is due at Lyttelton on October 10. She will proceed to Melbourne to complete discharge. Owing to the slackness of trade the American steamers Golden Bear, Golden Rod, and Golden Cross are laid up at San Francisco. In ballast from Newcastle-on-Tyne, via the Cape of Good Hope, the C. and D. Line steamer Port Victor reached New Plymouth last Sunday morning to commence her Homeward loading. She will complete at Wellington and Auckland, and Is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on October 15 for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via the Panama canal. The Bank Line motor ship Deebank is reported to have reached Newcastle on September 30 from Auckland. After replenishing her bunkers the vessel will proceed to Nauru Island to load a phosphate cargo. The Port Dunedin, en route from LiverSool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and 'unedin, left Panama last Saturday morning. She is due at Auckland on October 23. The Shell Company’s tanker Acasta left Balik Papan on September 29 for Auckland and .other New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland about October 17.
