Lord Inchcape’s estate is assessed at £2,124,000 on which the estate duty will amount to £1,027,000. Included in the legacies are a year’s wages to all his personal servants, a month s salary to every employee of the companies and £lOOO to each of his partners m token of their loyalty and devotion.
