RIOTER KILLED
CHICAGO DEMONSTRATION.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Rec. 7.20 p.m.) Chicago, October 6. While attempting to quell an unemployment riot before the unemployment relief station, the police shot and killed a rioter and arrested six others. Two policemen were injured with an iron pipe. A detective admitted the shooting. He said he was kicked and pushed against a wall and fired thrice in selfdefence.
