NEW ZEALANDER’S FATE
JUMP FROM HARBOUR BRIDGE. CRASHED TO ASPHALT FOOTWAY. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, September 26. A man who crashed from the Harbour Bridge to the asphalt footway 150 feet below during the week-end has been identified as George Williams, aged 57, single, a native of the North Island, New Zealand. He had been living in Sydney for the past four years and had been unemployed for some time. Williams crashed two yards in front of a Customs official who was walking along the footway. Every bone in his body was broken.
