Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of Section 87 of “The River Boards Act, 1908” and Section 9 of “The River Bards Amendment Act 1913,” the WAIKIWI RIVER BOARD propose to make and levy on the 14th October, 1932, on a graduated scale according to the classification of land within the said District, made pursuant to Section 23 of “The Counties Amendment Act 1913,” A GENERAL RATE of Seven Shillings per acre on lands in class (a) that is lands receiving or likely to receive immediate and direct benefit; a GENERAL RATE of three shillings and sixpence per acre on lands in class (b), that is lands receiving or likely to receive less direct benefit, and a GENERAL RATE of sixpence per acre on lands in class (c), that is lands receiving or likely to receive only an indirect benefit, for the period beginning Ist April 1932 and ending 31st March 1933. The above-mentioned RATES being due and payable in one sum on Ist November, 1932, at the Office of the Board, Newburgh’s Buildings, Esk St., Invercargill.
