In reply to a welcome extended by the president of the Rotorua Orphan? Club, Mr J. M. Roberts, at a meeting of the club last week, Count de Bail-let-Latour, of Belgium, president of the International Olympic Committee, referred to the fine spirit of New Zealanders at their games. He made an appeal for the continued support of the amateur principle in sport.
