EXECUTIVE OFFICER
WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD. . MR A. G. BARNETT APPOINTED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 27. Having served the Wellington Harbour Board for many years, Mr A. G. Barnett, the secretary, was appointed chief executive officer at a meeting this evening. The board accepted the resignation of the general manager, Mr James Marchbanks, to take effect from next Monday and appointed him consulting engineer. Mr E. D. Cachemaille, office engineer, was appointed engineer to the board.
