She returned to Bluff last evening about five o'clock. The Union Company's steamer Waipiata arrived from Dunedin yesterday morning. She is working general cargo and will finish and sail again to-day about 4 p.m. for northern ports via Dunedin. The Tongariro will probably complete her homeward loading on Saturday morning and will then sail for Southampton and London. Tire Storm is due to reach Bluff on Monday from Lyttelton and will sail the same day for northern ports. The Morinda, from the Islands, arrived at Auckland on Saturday with the following passengers:—Mr F. Adams. Mrs A. Black. Miss A. Boryer. Mrs M. Colbeck. Mr L. Griffiths. Mrs L. Griffiths. Miss L. Harvey, Miss P. Libeau. Mr and Mrs J. McMullen, Miss J. Nobbs. Mrs E. Robins, Mr E. Turner, Mrs M. Turner, Mr and Mrs J. Williams and three children. The Forresbank, which arrived at Auckland last Friday from Nauru Island, carries a crew of sixty-one. Captain S. Clark, who is accompanied by his wife, is in command, and the following are the officers: Chief, Mr R. Houghton; second. Mr A. Bell: third, Mr E. Davies; chief engineer, Mr T. Gibbons. The Union Company advises that the Waikouaiti, from Bluff, arrived at Sydney on Sunday morning. After discharge she commences loading at. Newcastle, thence back to Sydney, leaving there at noon on Friday for Hobart, Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Oamaru. She is due here about August 7. LONDON'S SHIPPING. During the week ended June 10, 927 vessels, representing 1,022,787 net register tons, used the Port of London; 465 vessels (824,997 net register tons) were to and from Colonial and foreign ports and 462 vessels (197,790 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. TILBURY PASSENGER LANDING STAGE. Twenty-nine vessels totalling 306,180 gross register tons, used the Tilbury passenger landing stage during the month of May. Altogether 4300 passengers were embarked or distnbarked at the stage, in addition to baggage and mails. CHILLED AND FROZEN MEAT ARRIVALS. Ten vessels discharged meat cargoes in the Port of London during the week; eight from Australia and New Zealand, the Kia Ora. Fordsdaie, Port Napier, Port Fairy. Port Auckland, Comorin. Middlesex and Ormonde and two from South America, the Sultan Star and Duquesa. Altogether 336,000 carcasses of lamb and mutton, 85.000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork and rabbits, and approximately 17,000 packages of sundries were distributed to the London market and throughout the country or placed into cold storage.
