GOLD STANDARD
OPPOSITION IN CANADA. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Vancouver, May 30. A message from Saskatchewan states that abandonment of the gold standard as recommended by the Alberta United Farmers is also desired by the Saskatchewan, United Farmers of Canada. Mr Frank Eliason, secretary, declares that inflation or counter-deflation would be of great advantage, and the Government should take the issuing of the currency entirely in its own hands.
