GORE DRUIDS
ANNUAL MEETING OF LODGE. The anual meeting of the Gore Druids’ Lodge was held on Friday evening, A.D. Bro P. Walker presiding over a splendid attendance of officers and members. A considerable amount of correspondence was dealt with. The committee in charge of the ladies’ social night reported on the progress made. P. A. Bro Graham reported on the visit to the Pride of Mataura Lodge. A splendid welcome had been extended to all who had attended and a most enjoyable evening had been spent. The election of officers resulted: A. D., Bro Jas. Broome; V.A.D., Bro J. O. Brown; secretary, Bro. T. J. Sherborne; treasurer, Bro. Kroning; 1.G., Bro. Taylor; 0.G., Bro. Mclntyre; A. D., bards, Bros. A. O’Kane and E. McMath; V.A.8., Bros. Crawford and Hankie; M.C., Bro. Redman; auditors, Bros. C. McLeod, T. J. Sherborne and J. Jamieson; trustees, Bros A. Latham, G. Peterson and J. P. Fraser. Subsequently the members took part in the final euchre tournament, Bro. C. Gutschlag proving the winner and also the winner of the aggregate prize.
