ANNUAL SPORTS. EVENTS POSTPONED. The Gore High School’s annual sports gathering commenced yesterday morning, but owing to heavy rain setting in only a few events were completed. The results of the events decided yesterday were as follows :—■ Junior Long Jump.—P. McLeod 1, M. Paterson 2, W. Small 3. Senior Long Jump.—J. Stewart 1, M. Stroud 2, A. Miller 3. Junior Half-mile.—W. Henderson 1, I. Shaw 2, G. Wyeth 3. Senior Half-mile.—B. Nixon ■!, M. Stroud 2, R. McKenzie 3. Senior Mile.—B. Nixon 1, M. Stroud 2, J. Stewart 3.
