LABURNUM’S VISIT

OFFICIAL CALL RETURNED. Considerable interest is being taken by local residents and visitors in the naval sloop H.M.S. Laburnum, which in the course of a southern cruise is at present berthed at Bluff. Yesterday morning Commander R. Ramsbotham, accompanied by Lieutenant A. J. F. Milne Home and Surgeon-Lieuten-ant A. J. Burden, came up to Invercargill to return the official call paid the previous afternoon by his Worship the Mayor (Mr John Miller).
