COLAC BAY NOTES
MUTTONBIRDERS BALL. (From Our Correspondent.) On Wednesday, March 9, the annual muttonbirders farewelll ball was held in the Drill Hall. Music was supplied by Messrs Gregg, and Shore while the duties of M.C. were carried out by 7 Mr Te Au. Amongst those present were Mesdames Shore, Dryden, Whittle, Egerton, Bates, Maley, Cross, Te Au, Coulston, Hart. Misses Neilson, Egerton, Crengle (2), Cleaver (2), Wadsworth (2), McFadgen (3), Te Au, McKay, Patterson, Todd, Goodwillie (2), Wixon, Scott (2), Hopwood, Clark, Baxter, Beer, Leader, Cox (2), Hart. Messrs McKay, Gregg, Dallas, Maley, Cappie, Cleaver (2), Rowan, Dryden, Shore, Smith, Scott (3), Fisher, Crengle, Te Au, Anderson, G. Scott, Cox, Cotton, Dooley, Branks, Hayes, Burns, Smith, Hopwood, Hart, Dawson, Molloy, Davis, Egerton, Dutton. Miss Scott (Longwood) favoured the company with a Highland Fling.
