The Tamatea sailed on her weekly trip to Stewart Island at 10.30 a.m. yesterday and returned to Bluff in the evening. The ketch Lily arrived from Stewart Island at 12.50 p.m. yesterday and left again for the island at 4.10 p.m. Tire ketch Rakiura left for Stewart Island yesterday at 4.45 p.m. The Canterbury Steamship Company’s coaster Storm reached Bluff shortly after 3 a.m. yesterday and after discharging and loading general cargo sailed in the’ afternoon for Dunedin. Tlie Union Company’s Kaimai is reported to have cleared Westport at noon yesterday for Bluff, via Napier and Lyttelton. Due at Bluff about the 17th, the vessel

is to sail the same day but her destination has not yet been announced. The Union Company’s intercolonial freighter Waikouaiti is to clear Dunedin on the 21st for Bluff, where she is due the following day. The vessel is to sail the same day for Sydney. Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Rotorua left London on March 4 for Suva, Wellington, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Timaru. She is due at Wellington on April 18, and at Port Chalmers on April 20. Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the motor ship Rangitane arrived at Southampton on March 4 from Wellington, via Panama. The vessel left the northern port on January 30. Reported to have cleared Falkland Islands on February- 29, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor ship Port Fremantle is en route from Wellington to London. She was despatched from Wellington on February 6. Cable advice has been received by the Union Company that the liner Monowai, from Sydngy and Wellington, left Papeete at 6 a.m. on Tuesday last for San Francisco, where she is due on March 11. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that the Kia Ora sn route from London to Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Nelson, left Balboa on the morning of March 1. She is due at Port Chalmers on March 25. The Union Company advises that the liner Niagara left Vancouver on March 2 for' Honolulu, Suva, Auckland, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on March 21.
