THE GORE SOCIETY. ANNUAL PICNIC. The Gore District Angling Society held its annual picnic at the Otamata Gorge during the week-end, the function attracting a large gathering of members, honorary members and ladies. The weather was delightfully fine and a very pleasant day was spent by the picnickers. A short sports programme was held, the results being as follows: — Girls' race, 6 and under: D. Hoffman 1, D.
