At the wool sales the offering totalled 10.081 bales, of which 9053 were sold, also 1280 which were disposed of privately. Yorkshire operated freely, supported to a moderate extent by Japan and the Continent. Values were firm, particularly for comebacks and crossbreds. Greasy Merino sold to 16Jd.
