APPEAL SUCCEEDS
LEADER OF NEW GUARD. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.50 p.m.) Sydney, March 8. Mr Justice K. W. Street upheld the appeal of Colonel Eric Campbell against his conviction at the Police Court uf having used offensive language during a public speech in which he attacked Mr Lang on January 11. The Governor on Friday receives a deputation from the New Guard who will present a petition bearing 100,000 signatures asking for the dissolution of the New South Wales Parliament.
