OTTAWA CONFERENCE

MR THOMAS ATTENDING. RUMOURS CONTRADICTED. • (United Press Assn.—Fy Telegraph—Copyright.) London, March 7. Official circles describe as malicious gossip the Liberal and Labour newspaper hints that Mr J. H. Thomas is not going to Ottawa. The Australian Press Association is informed that Mr Thomas throughout is supervising the Ottawa arrangements and there is no shadow of doubt that he will be one of the delegates. The suggestion that Mr Neville Chamberlain is also to attend is discounted by the fact that the Chancellor in July will be busily pre-occupied with international financial matters.
