LOSS OF KOTITI
INQUIRY TO BE HELD. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, January 18. The Minister of Marine, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, has considered the representations made to him on behalf of the Federated Seamen’s Union .that an official inquiry be held into the recent loss of the small steamer Kotiti on the West Coast. It was urged there was sufficient evidence available to justify the inquiry and the Minister has agreed to the investigation being made. The personnel of the court and the date of the inquiry will be announced shortly.
