IRISH FREE STATE
TRADE RELATIONS WITH BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, January 14. The President of the Board of Trade, Mr Walter Runciman, yesterday received the representatives of the Irish Free State. The discussion was concerned with the possibilities of improving trade between the two countries and of securing the closest practical collaboration in trade problems. Mr Runciman stated that he and his colleagues were anxious to co-operate with the Free State Government, and explained that on the reassembly of Parliament a statement would be made as to their policy for developing inter-Commonwealth trade.
