WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20.
H. & J. SMITH'S ANNUAL PICNIC. BOYS OF THE “JOHN SMITH” CLUB INVITED. Messrs H. & J. Smith, Ltd. cordially invite members of the “John Smith” Club to be the guests of the firm at the annual picnic which will be held at the “Rocks” on Wednesday next. A big sports programme has been prepared and the boys are certain to enjoy themselves. No lunches will be required —the firm will provide everything. Buses will leave H. & J. Smith’s at 10 a.m. —leaving Riverton on the return journey at 6 p.m. To help with the catering arrangements, the boys of the club are asked to let the firm know immediately whether they will be able to attend.—Advt.
