LATEST BRITISH RETURNS. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, January 15. Tlie Ministry of Labour announces that the improvement in employment noticeable since September continued until Christmas. During the first three weeks of December unemployment fell 112,000 I to 2,510,000, of which 77,000 mark a real improvement. The remainder are due to I a tightening up of the dole. The Ministry points out that the improvement is seasonal, but greater than for some years, especially in the coalmining, cotton and engineering trades. It adds that since September unemployment fell 315,000, of which 225,000 are employed.
