IMPROVEMENT IN TRADE. MORE PERSONS EMPLOYED. (United Tress Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) London, January 15. Lord Barnby, a director of Lloyds Bank and a partner in the firm of Francis Willey, Ltd., wool merchants, describing his impressions of America, said the wool and textile industry there was again showing power to emerge from the realm of panic. It was significant also that British textiles were showing a recovery greater than that of any of the large exporting industries. There had been a surprising decrease in unemployment in the West Riding since the departure from the gold standard.
