The words of command used for starting events as ruled upon by the N.Z.A.A.A. Council —that is, the adoption of “Get Ready” for "Get set”—are being followed by Mr T. W. Leslie, the Wellington Centre’s official starter, and it was noticeable at a recent meeting (says the Post) that some of the men who got down in front of him, but particularly some of the ladies, were affected by the change, in spite of the fact that Mr Leslie took great pains to inform the competitors of the words he would use-
