Anagram To Little Southlanders
Little Souihlanders you are sure to meet If you walk down any street They are always going along They all can happily sing a song. Little Southlanders are, you know, Ever willing to keep from woe.
So now you know quite who we are Our members all are fond of work Upholding still our reputation ’Twould never do to find us shirk However far in our generation. Little Southlanders are friends throughout And so you find we all are friends Not as though we have just ourselves Don’t think we never make out friends, Enrol with us and be one of ourselves. Right through this year we’ll have good cheer So I wish you a happy year.
—Cousin Zoe Smith (14) “Sherwood” 24 Mitchell Street, South Invercargill.
