SANTA CLAUS BEAUTIFUL NEW CAR. PARADE THROUGH STREETS AT 2 P.M. AND 7 P.M. FRIDAY. On his trip from the North Pole to H. and J. Smith’s Toyland this year Santa Claus had a lot of trouble with his old car which has done good service for so many years. “I had several breakdowns,” said the jolly old chap, “and indeed had to be rescued on the North Road on Monday, and was a few minutes late in arriving. This must never occur again, so I have purchased one of the very latest cars from Russell and Co., Dee street. This is a beautiful car and as my boy and girl friends will want to see and admire it, I will parade through the streets at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon and again at 7 p.m. on Friday evening. My route will be down the North Road into Dee street and then down Esk street to H. and J. Smith’s Toyland. I have a free gift for every child and adult who visits me in Toyland.”—Advt.
