CHRISTMAS CHEER FOR VICTORS HOME.
To the Editor.
Sir, —The time has now arrived for our annual appeal to the people of Southland towards providing extra comforts for the inmates of Victoria Home at Christmas and New Year. At the present time there are quite a number of girls and young children in our care, and it is with every confidence that we appeal to our kind friends to please remember the inmates of the home at festive season. Gifts either in cash or kind can be forwarded to the matron at the home, Tweed street. —We are etc., VICTORIA HOME COMMITTEE.
